In an unusual marketing ploy, Byrd Baggett wrote a nice little book of "236 ideas to make your customers feel like a million dollars".

Many of the ideas were invaluable, but some seemed to be something he pulled out of the air, just to fill up a little space. "Always tell the truth"? Please.

Still, as a fan of simplicity, most of the pearls of wisdom inside this brief little book, are indeed, gems. One of my favorites: "Bureaucracy & customer service are mutually exclusive." Amen to that.

Although I love the book, I wish it had included at least 14 more earth shattering tips; but what the heck. I bought the book anyway.
