Used at Western Washington University in 2010. Most 4 pound textbooks are not particularly interesting, but this was an exception. It is well-written, informative, and easy to read (if you love marketing). Like many subjects, most marketing books are outdated by the time they're published, but this still contains good material for those just learning about marketing.

Like most people, I rely on honest product reviews to make purchase decisions. Because the experience of others has been so helpful to me, I try to provide honest, helpful reviews to assist other shoppers in selecting the right products for them. I hope my review has been helpful to you!

Another book required for my college studies and man is it useless! The content isn't clearly written. The author sends you on long winded bits that have little to do with advertising do's or don't with no explanations as to why. Its all a bunch of hot air nonsense and not worth getting it since its a door stop of off the wall banter of information

Read business books not textbooks to learn real advertising. Read David Ogilvy for example. This book didn't contain much of anything new to me after taking just a few introductory marketing classes prior.

Good book, but the class was boring. Probably because it was 8 in the morning. It gives various trends, but not really enough practical info for effectively promoting a new venture.

This book was beautifully presented with tons od ads inside! I normally race to finish each 30-40 page chapter UN my textbooks, but this one was fun so I didn't really notice the time passing by. I liked the organization of the chapters too, with integrated brand promotion worked into every chapter.

I used this book for my advertising class. It really seems to break down the important information about the different advertising concepts. The way this book is set up made it easy for me to use it to study. Some books are set up in such a way that is nonsensical but not this one.
