Gave this as a gift and the information in this book is very informative. I would recommend this to anyone who is about to head off to bootcamp. (And for the Mom's of those who have kids who are.) It provides straigt to the point facts and gives peace of mind.

Bought it for a friend's son who was about to enter Marine Boot Camp. Which I did way back in 1952. As a Marine who served 25 years active I believe this book is very helpful in orienting someone about what to expect during training at Parris Island or San Diego.

It’s a good informative books that give a little insight on what you will experience throughout boot camp. It give pretty good advice on what to do.
My 16 year old son thinks he wants to join the Marine after high school. He read this basically in one sitting and said he really enjoyed it and he learned things about boot camp that he had not heard before.
