As a financial advisor, I've used this book as a resource for several educational workshops - lots of illustrations, easy to read bullet points and very little fine print make it accessible and less overwhelming, and a fast read. Needs to be regularly updated to maintain current information, but basic concepts remain the same.

This book was a very general overview of personal finances that especially effect women.

The information concerning being prepared for financial decisions required upon a husband's death, although never pleasant, was well written. It offered very good advice.

In places the book seemed a bit elementary, but over all it was very informative for a beginning in personal finances.
