I like a lot of the Chicken soup books. Since I have family living in Hawaii and have been there several times I thought I would scan through it. I was glad I did and ended up reading it from cover to cover. If you have spent any time in Hawaii, this book with take you back and help flesh out your memories of it. The various authors know the island and it comes through. If you are going there it might also be the book for you. Hawaii has a way of getting into your soul. If I think about it any length of time, I can still hear the music of the island.

I have family living in Hawaii and I was pleased to go for a visit last year. They have make many friends and have learned about the culture. I loved the stories: some funny, some sad, but all painting a picture of Hawaii.

This book came to my attention while looking for Hawaii inspired reading. On a whim I placed the order. This is made up of many little stories that both inspire and warm the soul. One great story after the next making sense of the world and giving inspiration.
Read it yourself and pass it along to enrich someone else's life.

Enjoy.

I have read several of the Chicken Soup books and enjoyed each of them, however THIS is the queen of all. Chicken Soup from the Soul of Hawaii is wonderful book. As a lover of all things Hawaiian ... I knew I had to read this book the moment I heard of its existence. Between the covers of "Soul" is a mini Hawaiian vacation and I cannot recommend it highly enough. There are stories where you will find mino'aka (smiles) and others will bring you u'e (tears) but in the end I predict that you ... like me....will wish for more. The spirit of aloha (love)..ohana (family) and a'ina (land) are demonstrated in a very entertaining fashion and you'll come away with a new sense of Hawaii. I return to Chicken Soup from the Soul of Hawaii between vacations and I always find something more to enjoy. NOTE TO THE AUTHOR: Please please more!!!!!
