Another great Secret Seven book

Another great Secret Seven book. It shows the SS are also a club, when they are not solving mysteries the find other things to do. Actually collecting wood for their bonfire, doing chores to get money for firework. I though my kids would not relate to this as it was not done on Minecraft. However the fact that the SS do these thing for themselves just seemed to make them cooler in my kids eyes.

We haven't had one for ages. Oh, yes, let's! said Janet, shutting her book with a bang.

We'd better have a meeting of the Secret Seven, said Peter to Janet. We haven't had one for ages. It isn't that we've forgotten about the Society, Peter – it's just that we've had such a lot of exciting things to do in the Christmas holidays we simply haven't had time to call a meeting. But we must, said Peter.

THE “SECRET SEVEN” SERIES

THEY ARE THE BEST FOR A FIRST READ!

Enid’s early works include the ‘Secret Seven Society’ books featuring Peter (the society's leader), Janet (Peter's sister), Jack, Barbara, George, Pam and Colin. They were the catalyst which encouraged me to start reading more than 50 years ago. Thank you, Enid.

The BBC, many public libraries, local authorities and alleged educational experts have been completely wrong about the worth of the Blyton works. I can remember having substantial difficulty obtaining the original versions of the books. Quite a few shops would not stock them then but they were wonderful stories for teenagers! The tales are great to read for their simplicity and straightforwardness.

When one did find copies of the book they were quite expensive all those years ago but great to own. I loved the physical appearance of the books as well which I treasured as a youngster with the way in which the books were produced then making them somehow much easier to read.

It’s a delight to read these stories of adventure again in middle age although recent editing has diminished some of the memories I have of the original editions and words used then (but I am now getting old).

Never mind… these books remain one of my best friends for life: they began my own reading adventure so do read these special adventures of the Secret Seven Society for yourselves.

This book is great. It is aged for 9-12, but I find good for 8 year olds. It's an adventure/mystery about five children who have just recoverd from a bad case of measles. They take a trip to a bird island in the middle of the sea. Their 2 pets Huffin and Puffin are Puffins. The children go to an island which they make their headquarters. I am not going to tell you any more as it will spoil the story. You need to read it yourself as it is great reading I would give it 10/10

This book is great. It is aimed for the age groupe 9-12, but infact i still find it intesting at 14 years old. It is an adventure/mystery about seven children who start saving money to buy fireworks. Peter, Janet, Pam, Colin, George, Jack and Barbara are collecting old clothes and money, but then everything is stolen! Who could have done this? Could it be Jack's little sister and her gang? Could it have something to do with the nearby robery? I'm not giving anything away, you will just have to read it for yourself. You wont regret buying it, I'll tell you that for a fact. I give it a fab 10/10

'Secret Seven Fireworks' is the eleventh in the series of 15 books comprising 'The Secret Seven Series' written by children's story writer Enid Blyton during the period 1949 to 1963.

In book eleven, the secret seven is in shock when Jack's annoying sister Susie forms a club of her own - Tiresome Three :)

But who stole the Secret Seven's guy's clothes and firework money? It couldn't it be Susie ... or could it? And, who are the rough looking men hanging out in the hut on Peter's farm?

The Secret Seven are right in the middle of another juicy detective mystery.

ABOUT THE SECRET SEVEN:
The Secret Seven are led by Peter, his sister Janet, and their friends Jack, Colin, George, Pam and Barbara and of course, their golden retriever, Scamper.
The Secret Seven have a secret password, a badge, and a secret headquarters. The group investigates mysteries by shadowing, interviewing and, looking for clues. Always a fun read as The Secret Seven comes out on top every time!

NOTE: If you like reading in chronological order, I would recommend you read this prequel - Secret Seven Short Story Collection before you start the 15 book Secret Seven Series.

The 'Secret Seven' series is a recommended fun read for preteens. Of course, I also share in the excitement as I read these evergreen mystery/adventures with my young family members :)
