The book is a third grade science book by Houghton Mifflin Company. The book has large writing, excellent graphics, and is organized very well. There are five units, labeled A through E which is broken out into many sections. Unit A: Life Cycles Unit B: Sun, Moon, and Earth Unit C: Matter, Energy, and Forces Unit D: Earth's Resources Unit E: Roles of Living Thingss. My children had a lot of fun learning and using this book. We did not purchase a teachers guide as we learn together and it was not needed. I really liked this book.
