So much for the 4 hour World Series.! This book is "Field of Dreams" in pictures and copy and a rich subject matter. If you loved baseball, and I am aware of the verb tense, you WILL love this book. Prepare to shed a tear and experience moments of sadness for great things past.

Filled with thorough historic photographs of infamous players, managers and ballparks.
Vought it for our 11 year old grandson, into his 3rd season og little league to inspire and teach him.
He is thrilled and intrigued by it. Asked Grandpa why Babe Ruth refered himself as a bum!

I bought this book to give a 16-year-old baseball player for Christmas who loves the sport. He will love all the data and pictures. It's the "real deal".
