During my yearly physical, I was told by my doctor that I was 33 years old, max, based upon my blood test, cholesterol, HDL, LDL, blood pressure, glucose level, resting heart rate, etc. That statement may not seem to be out of the ordinary, except for the fact that I was less than two months from my 54th birthday at the time. My doctor then proceeded to ask me if I was taking a Human Growth Hormone, or something. I informed her that I was not. In essence, the doctor stated that I am 21 years younger than my chronological age. These were the best results I have had for at least 15 years. My results have been consistent for several years, including as recently as six months previous. The fact that this dramatic change occurred after practicing the tenets within this book for 21 days prior, is astounding. Additionally, I have maintained a healthy weight and a body fat percentage of around 10-11% for years. Around the same time as the doctor appointment, my weight dropped several pounds and my body fat % dropped to 7%. I had not changed my diet, exercise routine, work or sleep patterns. The only thing that I incorporated, which was different from m y normal routine, was the implementation of the tenets of this book. Additionally, I experienced a mood elevation, heightened awareness, dilation of time, increased productivity, elimination of procrastination, increased focus, less anxiety and a general sense of healthier and happier well being. I never anticipated these benefits. My goal was to improve my memory. I practiced the tenets exactly as instructed and made sure I set aside time to do them. I am extremely glad that I did. I am a firm believer now, that our brain truly controls everything!

Unique book that is primarily written by Michale Lavery by the way, at least from the standpoint of who is living it and doing it and providing the info. Clear, concise and has a workbook as well!

I absolutely admire Mr. Lavery's ambition and courage in sharing with others his journey with the whole Brain Power activation.
I have been practicing the techniques in the book including and not limited to the penmanship, cursive writing.
Lets transform our brains and limit the affects of Alzheimer for us humans in the future.
I most definitely want to reach my fullest potential in brain capacity and I have been sharing this work with others.

I bought this book shortly after encountering Michael Lavery as he painted at Laguna Beach. My family and I spoke with him somewhat briefly due to a prior engagement, and that fleeting moment left a profound impact on me. I had met a man who played multiple sports professionally, was a fantastic and vivid painter, musician, had the densest muscle mass I had or have ever seen, and was exceptionally articulate in his speech. He claimed all of this and more was a direct result to his revolutionary brain training curriculum. Naturally, I wanted to begin practicing his approach as soon as possible.

This book is simplistic in design and has only pertinent information, so it isn't challenging to absorb the fundamentals behind the exercises, and I believe the book is accessible to all audiences who wish to learn. Most of the book's contents are space for you to practice penmanship, record your ball-on-hammer results, and various memory exercises that increase in difficulty. Readers are able to set their own pace and progress as quickly or slowly as their schedules allow. Everything that is done in this book will benefit you greatly.

The most notable changes in my life I have noticed are:
-an increase in focus with a decrease in anxiety, especially during and following the exercises
-a monumental escalation in my hand-eye coordination, and this has been invaluable as a percussionist
-amplified memory, both short and long term
-finding joy in the motion of writing as well as the end result on the page, whereas for most of my life I have been a sloppy, anxious, and tense writer. I could barely read my own handwriting, and needless to say, I did not enjoy the process of writing.

Watch out for the initial list of states on p. 148, it's missing Nevada. I didn't realize this until several days into the memory exercises.

It's not often I come across a book that I can honestly say has already and will continue to change my life. I was introduced to the Whole Brain Power Program less than a month ago, and through study and application of the material within I have already begun to transform my mind and body. THE RESULTS ARE ASTOUNDING! My mental clarity and focus has increased exponentially and people at the gym are asking if I am on steroids! I would have never in my wildest dreams thought that I would eventually become ambedextrous, but after less than a month I am doing such activites as using chopsticks, playing tennis and throwing a football with my non-dominant hand. In addition, my memory has become like a magnet, remembering names, numbers and all things of importance with ease. This is a must read AND a must implement for anyone looking for that "edge" in life!
