Sleeping With Skeletons book. I was delighted to learn it got published this year. Doralynn Kennedy is a very smart writer-her heroine's cyberintelligence and weaponry know-how is always impressive and fascinating. Former CIA operative Margaret Garrison is not the woman she. And she doesn't neglect the tender human side of things either: we've got love, grief, pain, humor, sweetness, and the beautiful countryside of Ireland in the pages of this book.

If you're looking for a romance that's way more than a romance, and I mean with depth, suspense, grit and extra threads, as well a good dose of steam and scorching chemistry between romantic leads, check out Sleeping With Skeletons. Even if you're not a fan of romance per se, there's enough substance and action here to satisfy just regular lovers of suspense. I made the mistake of reading this before bed and actually dreamt about it, that's how engrossing and spine-tingling it is, and that's NEVER happened to me before. I can't wait for more books by Doralynn Kennedy!

A very enjoyable story! Romance and intrigue, a perfect combination, and with the backdrop of the beautiful land of Ireland, and all well written - brilliant. Doralyn Kennedy has crafted a well thought out story, and developed real-life characters who have extraordinary lives. Her scenery descriptions are wonderful, and I got attached to all her characters, and fell in love with Aidan.
This story delighted me, because I like a romance that has some guts to it, and this has it! It is not your normal romance novel. It is defintely a page turner, and a thrilling ride from one scene to the next.
It was a beautiful journey of a woman's need for peace and fulfilment, and that meant facing her past - and dealing it. Margaret is an outstanding character, and I could relate to her, even with her pastlife in espionage.
I can't wait for more from this author. And I don't hesitate to recommend this to anyone, and especially if you want more from your romance novels.

I thoroughly enjoyed this novel and devoured it in virtually one sitting. I emphasised with the heroine, I felt the suspense and the storyline was well planned and feasible. The imagery was excellent and believable. A great read and it will grace my shelves to be taken out every year or so and read again. In only do that with books I enjoy most.
Well recommended!

The book kept me entertained from beginning to end. You bond with the characters right away and fight with them to the end. The setting is Ireland and as a reader, we are taken there with style. You will not regret buying this book.

I have to start off this review by saying that this was the most excitement I've experienced in a novel in a long time. Ms Kennedy gives us an unlikely pair as our hero and heroine in this wonderful read, Margaret a former CIA black ops agent and Aiden a popular Irish actor. Can they find love? Is happiness possible? The author takes us on a frightening journey deep into the psyche of a trained killer in this dramatic psychological thriller as we learn about the skeletons she sleeps with. But who can she trust? Will they survive?
Ms. Kennedy's plot/storyline takes us page by chilling page through one woman's incredible life from loss to torture and betrayal to revenge and finally to redemption and joy. Set in the majestic backdrop of Ireland she works magic with her amazing descriptive dialogue showing her readers with her words dramatic Atlantic seascapes and breathtaking landscapes as she takes us through the wild beauty of Ireland. While in other scenes across the sea we're shown glimpses of Margaret's once captor as he tracks her and of her life before. She shows us all her secrets, her disappointments, her failures and her hopes. She is an incredible storyteller. Her characters are unforgettable from the sweet Katie to the enigmatic Aiden and the complex Margaret. Her supporting characters are no less memorable from the pure evil of the villain to the exciting operatives and even her cameo characters are well defined and interesting. The romance between Margaret and Aiden is spicy and sensual yet sweet and heartwarming, and as the bond between them forms the past is revealed and all her secrets come back to haunt her. And it's not just a love story between a man and a woman, but the birth of a family too.
Doralynn Kennedy gives us page after page of an edge of your seat, nail biting, heart racing read. It's a roller coaster ride of emotions that doesn't forget that it's foremost and absolutely a romance novel. So if you like the feel of your heart thumping erratically and you enjoy crying one minute, laughing the next and then cringing with your next breath and if you like your romance on the sizzle burner then this is definitely the read for you! Kudos to Ms Kennedy for this amazing can't put it down must read!

What a great read! Kennedy writes with a pulsating rhythm that drives the reader deeper into the story. Margret is a heroine with such a strong persona you can see her in real life. The twists and turns make this story a page turner. The surprises that pop up make it both heart wrenching and finger twisting at the same time. When Margret takes on the town bad guys you stand up and cheer it is about time; while secretly you marvel at the craftiness of her revenge and wish you had thought of it. Each character adds new dimension to the plot. There are times you are unsure from where the threat is coming. Is it the tormentor of Margret's nightmares, Aiden's scorned lover or someone one who should have been her ally? This book is a definite recommend. - Helen Ruby

I was lucky enough to read an early copy of this book, and loved it from the start. Doralynn Kennedy knows her danger, keeping me worried and excited about these characters throughout. And she also throws in plenty of beauty and romance for us sentimental softies, from the gorgeous Irish countryside to gorgeous Irish actors playing Edward Rochester (and sometimes the Phantom of the Opera) in our heroine's vicinity. Something for romantics and suspense fans alike! An absorbing and lovely read.
This was an amazing read. I couldn't put it down and read it in a matter of hours. And then when I finished, I wanted to read it again! In Sleeping with Skeletons, Ms. Kennedy has created flawed yet sympathetic characters that make you root for them in unexpected ways. This book is a rollercoaster ride of intrigue and action with a heartwarming love story that follows you into your dreams. I loved it!
