Eleanor and Jacob are met to be together but they have to go through so much in this struggle of mortals and immortals and love and hate. But it keeps you on the edge of your seat. I could not put this book down once I started. And now I have to order the other two. If those books are as good and this one was there has to be more to come. I say to the author of this book keep them coming. I am now a big fan.

I enjoyed this book even though I felt it got a little slow about 2/3 of the way through. It had an inventive premise and engaging characters and the love scenes were steamy without being overly erotic. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys contemporary, paranormal romance.

Her task may be assisted--or hindered--by dangerous men with abilities that seem more than human. They offer assistance conditioned on a no-questions basis, and Eleanor is desperate. Eleanor is a woman with spine, and she'll need every bit of it to survive and, maybe, find love. With sparkling dialogue and a well-built world where powers come with limitations, the twists are unpredictable and the romantic attraction strong. I loved the interweaving of humor and sexual chemistry. The vulnerability shown by strong, principled men and the choices of the heart Eleanor is forced to make create a book that will stick in my mind.

I was surprised and very impressed with such an original idea for a story. Who would have thought of Dyads?!! I'm glad Ms. Hinnenkamp did, for this series if very refreshing! I gave 4 stars for Dyad Dreams. Even though I loved it, it felt a little off. But if you hang in there through the end, it is worth it because book 2, Dyad Quest, is awesome! Ms. Hinnenkamp hits her stride in Dyad Quest and blows it out of this world. The world of the Dyads and their human partners is amazing and becomes more real as you read the series. Awesome and refreshing!
