Rhapsody is another great KG MacGregor novel. With protagonist Ashley Giraud KG MacGregor has created one of my favourite characters in this genre.

Rhapsody is another great KG MacGregor novel. It really is. I liked the pairing of this couple - they had rapport, chemistry and were different enough to make the novel really interesting. She is fully fleshed out and developed, and very easy to empathize with. The novel is interesting and draws you in, the other characters are all well drawn, and the read is easy but not uncomplicated.

I really enjoyed Rhapsody. First it's nice to read a book w/ mature women. It's interesting to learn more about the inside of the television news business.

She wrote her first piece of fiction in 2002 and discovered her bliss. Since then, she has authored a dozen novels, including 2007 Lammy winner Out of Love. I really enjoyed Rhapsody.

After eleven years on the anchor desk at TV4, Ashley Giraud is one of the most beloved figures in Tampa Bay.

Lambda Literary Award winner KG MacGregor spins a story about the power of secrets and the risks of love with her trademark wit and insight.

Outwardly sociable with her coworkers and viewers, she can't wait to get back to her gated home and garden. When her longtime stylist goes out of business, she follows a colleague's recommendation to Rhapsody, a small salon that serves as a hub for an eclectic group of lesbian friends

An earthquake didn’t break them. In this fourth book of the award-winning Shaken Series, Lambda Literary Award winner KG MacGregor continues the compelling tale of two women who discover that real love has no limitations. She wrote her first piece of fiction in 2002 and discovered her bliss. Since then, she has authored eleven novels, including 2007 Lammy winner Out of Love.

After eleven years on the anchor desk at Channel 4, Ashley Giraud is one of the most beloved figures in Tampa Bay. That’s how she likes her love—distant and impersonal. Outwardly sociable with her coworkers and viewers, she can’t wait to get back to her gated home and garden. When her longtime stylist goes out of business, she follows a colleague’s recommendation to Rhapsody, a small salon that serves as a hub for an eclectic group of lesbian friends. Despite Ashley’s efforts to remain aloof, she soon trades her solitude for roller skates, swing dancing and the emotional ups and downs of new friends. Never before has she felt so contented in the company of other women. Even so, there’s always the whisper from the past. Would any of them, especially Julia Whitethorn, the charismatic, appealing owner of Rhapsody, care about her if they knew the terrible secret she’s kept for twenty years? Lambda Literary Award winner KG MacGregor spins a story about the power of secrets and the risks of love with her trademark wit and insight.

I really enjoyed Rhapsody. First it's nice to read a book w/ mature women. It's interesting to learn more about the inside of the television news business. This would make an excellent Audible book.

I enjoyed this book very much but I felt it ended before Julia and Ashley's relationship was completely developed. When I finish a book I want to feel confident in the relationship and I didn't feel that here. This book left me needing a sequel. Please give me a sequel because I need to see Ashley's progression dealing with her demons (can't say what the demons are since that's a spoiler).

Rhapsody is another great KG MacGregor novel. It really is. I liked the pairing of this couple - they had rapport, chemistry and were different enough to make the novel really interesting. I also enjoyed the setting (tv news vs. salon) and the manner in which the women met and encountered one another. It was realistic and thereby easy to get on board with them. Like other reviewers, I did kind of wish we got to see Ashely's journey play out a little more. We kind of left her hanging a bit, which was clearly intentional and an author choice. Thereby, I can respect it. However, on a personal level, I missed getting to see her resolution. (But I get it...) I still really enjoyed the read and think you should buy this book. :) Go ahead, do it.

This is a very good book, After reading this book I got some more of the writers other books, wonderful story. I loved the issuses the characters delt with in this book. I already reread it again. It shows how famous people might deal with the issues in the book.It was a good book, I suggest to any body read it once and decide for yourself.

Definitely not your usual lesfic fare. The women don't jump in bed right away, even if you know where the story is headed. The main character has some serious demons to overcome and the book portrays her struggle quite realistically as she struggles to trust and love someone. Yet still a romance. Worth a read.

I like KG MacGregor's writing, and this is no different from that point of view. Because I am familiar with her other work, this is not the story I was expecting. I found the resolution disturbing though, perhaps because I have too much experience with the situation.
This was a good story about friends and trust. One woman with a troubled past let somebody close to her help work out some issues. Love conquers all. Add a cute dog and you have a nice story. I would recommend this book to my friends.
