She’s a bestselling writer for Harlequin American Romance, but she has a long love of traditional romances and is delighted to tell a story that brings those elements to the reader. Ryan Nix stared at the newborn babies in the local hospital. He wouldn’t be here if his sister, Beth, hadn’t just given birth. Normally he avoided babies since his own child, Ryan, J. as well as his wife, Merilee, had died three years ago.

Newborn Daddy Judy Christenberry The baby suddenly opened her eyes, and Ryan would swear she was staring at him. It was the first time she’d been awake in his presence

Newborn Daddy Judy Christenberry. Литагент HarperCollins EUR. Ryan Nix knew all too well the joy of parenthood–and the pain of loss. The baby suddenly opened her eyes, and Ryan would swear she was staring at him. It was the first time she’d been awake in his presence. It was all he could do to hold back an exclamation. The nurse pushed Emma and the baby to the car as he followed. Almost like a family. He gently placed the baby in the seat and belted her in.

7 Secrets of the Newborn is a full-bloom bouquet of ‘old-time’ wisdom. Dr. Hamilton has distilled his thirty-plus years as a pediatrician into a simple and engaging book that is relevant for today’s new generation of parents. Robert E. Segal, cofounder of HelpGuide. Hamilton provides a refreshing perspective on parenthood and demonstrates how simplifying this journey can make it less daunting for parents. His knowledge and wisdom is beyond helpful, and I personally have learned so much from him. This book is the ultimate guide and should be the first book that you pick up when you.

I'm just catching up on reading Judy Christenberry, who passed away last year. She was one of my favorite authors. This is one of her best. I have yet to read one of her books that was bad. I'm sorry to see her style come to an end.

Newborn Daddy by Judy Christenberry
Silhouette Romance # 1511 - April 2001

Ryan lost his wife and son in a tragic car accident four years ago. He believes that he'll never love again, and he actually doesn't want to -- until Emma comes along. Sweet, shy Emma is used to being abandoned and having to look after herself. When she hints to Ryan that she'd like them to become a family, Ryan explodes and harshly ends their affair. It's a shock to Ryan when seven months later while viewing his new nephew at the hospital nursery, he sees a baby girl bearing his name as the father and Emma's as the mother. When he goes to confront Emma, she's so weak from complications of the birth she can't face him. Ryan's now faced with the fact that he has responsibilities he never wanted again.

Ryan's bad behaviour at the beginning of the book almost put me off the book. But Ms. Christenberry did a wonderful job justifying his emotions and actions and Ryan redeems himself quite nicely. Emma was well written, although weak from her the physical complications of her birthing, she shows a lot of strength emotionally. This was a real tearjerker at times. And a thoroughly enjoyable one!

Sweet 4 Star second chance romance book. The hero is a jerk but he redeems himself and Emma is such a beautiful person. I was happy Emma and Ryan had their HEA.
