So here's the breakdown:

In "A Kiss on the Lips" Jaxon and Cree were together for ten years before they broke up (he chose his career in the military over her). The story opens with Cree getting an invitation to Jaxon's wedding and immediately retiring from service to go get her. Nice start, right? They got together quick. The rest of the book was Jaxon not trusting that Cree wouldn't leave her-this is a valid concern since he'd done it before. However, after a while, you wanna scream "Just put a tracking device in his colon already!" That portion of the story read like an epilogue-they were happy in paradise, but they had yet to get over a small bump. It was okay (3 out of 5).

In "Fight for Me" Lana and Kellan have been best friends for 10 years. They are both lawyers. Recently, Kellan has come to the revelation that he is in love with Lana. Lana, on the other hand, has abandonment issues (foster kid thing goin' on) and is unwilling to compromise their friendship for what she is sure will be a temporary hook-up. Kellan sets about to proving her wrong. The female-with-issues theme again comes into play (3.5 out of 5).

In "Collide" Yancy is an undercover DEA agent who is at a Mardi Gras celebration to apprehend a drug dealer. Bria is there to catch a coconut for her sick niece. Turns out the coconuts are really drug baggies, and Bria gets away with one. Yancy tracks her down and retrieves the merchandise...but, oh no! The drug dealer knows where she lives so Yancy must stay mutiple nights at her home. *******SPOILER*********She is a virgin. He proposes to her and they get married after knowing her for less than a week. It was implausible. However, you should take this review with a grain of salt-I hated every single book Pamela Star has written (2 out of 5)

In "Champion" Reese is the mother of a handicap little boy. His father is the traditional thirty-something-year-old mamma's boy rapper who is uninterested in his kid. Reese signs up for a big brother. She is startled to discover that the "big brother" is a white boy and MMA fighter. She declines his services, but he pursuades her otherwise. They like each other. And the rest is history. This is the better of the four stories (4 out of five).

I really enjoyed most of the stories in the collection and found it was a way for me to be introduced to authors I have not ready before. My one disappointment is that there are numerous grammatical errors in my favorite story. When reading shorts, it helps when the character development is well done. Overall, this was true here. One other thing that would have been helpful, a table of contents to indicate the changing stories. I like to go back an re-read favorites and a table of contents would have helped.

Did not expect to really like this one because it seemed to start off slow, but once you get into it, it was a very nice read! A book of WOW.

I freely admit that my review probably can't be trusted because I only bought this because of my love for Eve Vaughn's writing. I usually have no problems with anything I read by her. I couldn't get through "Kiss on the Lips" because quite frankly the main female had way too many issues for me and if she can't seem to allow her man to leave her sight without freaking out then she's got way too many problems for me to be remotely interested. Fight for me is not too bad even though we run into the same theme of a woman with abandonment issues. I at least felt I could relate to the not wanting to ruin a good friendship angle. Over all the series isn't too bad, but I'm really picky in what I like to read.

I just loved reading this one.... the writers are GREAT!!!!! I have books from all of the writers!

What White Boyz Fight For is a collection of four stories that tells how far a man will go to get the woman of his dreams. "A Kiss On The Lips" by Carmichael is the story of Marine Staff Sergeant Novak who suddenly requests a discharge to win the hand of his true love, Jaxon Alexander. The problem is Jaxon is engaged to be married. In Kelly Nyrae's "Fight For Me," Alana is celebrating her 30th birthday. Her best friend, Kellan, decides that now is the time to confess his love and to convince her that they are made for each other. "Collide" by Pamela Leigh Starr takes place on Mardi Gras in New Orleans. Ambria only wanted to catch a coconut for her sick niece. Little did she know she would catch more than a coconut when she collided with a tall, blond blue-eyed DEA Agent Yancy DeWolf. Eve Vaughn, in "Champion," tells the story of Reese Green, a single mother raising a disabled son. She gets a shock when JT Austin shows up at her door as his Big Brother.

All of the stories were quick and fun to read. The first three stories were predictable and did not hold my interest too well. If I had to rate them individually, I would rate them 2.5/3 stars. However, I found the story by Vaughn to be refreshing and realistic. I would rate that story alone 4.5. Overall, readers of inter-racial romance will find this anthology a good book to read.

Most of the short stories were actually decent and had potential. However, they were too short which in turn caused for unsubstantiated characters, implausible story lines and mediocre writing. Also, all of the stories needed editing. If you want a couple of luke warm quick reads, knock yourself out.
