I loved this story! I love Katherine courage in dealing with her brother and sister in law. Though in the beginning of the story your heart goes out to her, as well as anger in how she was treated. As usual with Betty Neels stories all ends well!

I have been buying Betty Neels books for my mother (in her 70's) at her request, as an introduction to using a Kindle. I can say without hesitation that she loves all of these books. As she has said, "The plots may all be somewhat similar and the stories quaint, but I enjoy them immensely and find them endearing." What better recommendation could there be? She now has almost every Betty Neels book available for the Kindle. (And the Kindle Paperwhite? She loves the backlight and the ability to make the font larger.)

Another sweet old fashioned romance by Betty Neels. The heroine is an unpaid drudge for her brother and his wife. She is rescued by a doctor and becomes a companion for an elderly couple, then a job at a hospital. There are a few bumps to the romance, but all comes well in the end.

I love these little English doctor love stories. I don't know what some of the ward terms mean exactly but I get there drift. A very pleasant and clean story

Like most of The Best of Betty Neels, When Two Paths Meet is another romance with a
well thought-out plot about the struggles and triumph of an endearing heroine who puts up with the absurd from her brother's family, until a capable doctor turns her
world upside down and later makes freedom possible and self-respect that comes with it. There are still pitfalls to avoid and misunderstandings to keep the two occupied until they reach a happy conclusion.

The book arrived in good condition and was a pleasure to read.
I think this is one of my favorite Betty Neeley books. It was different from most of her other books in that the heroin is not a nurse, the hero is English, and best of all, the hero was not condescending to the heroin as most of the hero's are in her other books. I loved how gentle ,kind, and patient he was with her. It was a refreshingly different Betty Neely book and I would rank it as my tip 5 favorite of her books.
