Another great story by Eve Gaddy. Published by Thriftbooks. com User, 19 years ago.

Eve Gaddy delights her fans with a classic secret baby story. A bittersweet reunion. A second chance at happiness. Men - who are no better than the libertines of the Regency period - ah well, no honor, no integrity, definitely no morals. Still the story is worth reading - will provisionally recommend. Anna just triggered off my disappointment with our "fair sex" and Jake left me wondering where our "men of honor" are hiding. Another great story by Eve Gaddy.

Convincing the Rancher: A Single Dad Romance (Harlequin Super Romance). I just finished this book by new author Claire McEwen and it was wonderful. The longer length of Superromance is always a treat but the charming, heartfelt story just swept me away romantically. The characters are people you can relate to and believe in and the way this author writes, you can feel their emotions so well. Her writing style is crisp and clean and flows smoothly like water trickling in a stream.

"Anna Connor knows what kind of man Jake Rollins is. He's the sexy cowboy kind who'll break your heart when he calls you up to tell you he's married someone else. And she knows because that's exactly what Jake did to her sixteen years ago, giving her no choice but to marry Jake's best friend. After all, her baby deserved a father, even if Jake was too irresponsible to fill the role. Now Jake's back in Happy Texas demanding to know why Anna never told him just what he was leaving behind their daughter. How can she explain that she hadn't meant to hurt him? That she'd done what she thought best? or even after all these years (and even though she still loves him) she can't admit the truth. Because doing so would only hurt their daughter." This is from the back cover of this book.

A good read with a different twist. This time when the child finds out who her real father is, she is a teenager and acts like you would expect. The H and h have some angst that is a lot to work out. I like the older relationship with the grandfather and his love interest.

I enjoyed this book from start to finish and all the places in between. Jake and Anna had a love that was lost for 15 years. Over coming all of the obstacles to get the love back on track.

Wow! Great book! I loved it. I've read several of her books and enjoyed them all. She knows how to engage her readers!

I enjoyed this story from the beginning. It was pretty "middle of the road" for me, but I thought the last third of the book was fantastic. I felt the characters were well defined, the writing style was pleasant and had a good flow--timeline moved quickly, but not confusingly. The story had a whole "down to earth feel" to it. I felt the emotions and actions were pretty realistic, and not done in an overly dramatic "over the top" way. I did not agree with some of the characters actions, but the author made it so I could understand them, and it made me not lose interest in the book for not liking the characters themselves.

I just finished this book a few minutes ago. Its a great love story with some very sad times but love and kindness comes through-- I really like it.

If you don't fall in love with this hero... What am I saying? You have to fall in love with this cowboy. The ending is a tear-jerker, which means this book is a definite winner.

This is the kind of love stories I like to read. This book kept you wondering what was going to happen. At the ends of the book it mad me sad they were not going to be together but it turned out great. I really liked this book.
It's a little better than o.k. The usual mixed up love story/
