The entire Desert Rogues series by Susan Mallery is a must read. Funny and heartwarming. So, right after finishing The Sheik's Kidnapped Bride, I picked up the send book, The Sheik's Arranged Marriage. I'm not even sure what made me finish this book because, like the first one, it read like a bad 80s romance novel. I can't say whether or not the author was trying to make it read like that If so, she definitely succeeded.

The Sheik's Arranged Marriage is the second book in the Desert Rogue series by Susan Mallery and is Prince Jamal's and Heidi McKinley's story. Plenty! Up to his crown in gold-digging bubbleheads, Jamal is secretly enchanted with the sweet and studious virgin. I love her series of Sheik romances ...
Another of her books that captures the heart .. I really like Susan Mallery's writings.
She captures the reader and leads them on a wonderful journey of ups and downs,
that leads to romance and always the "Happy ending "
Why else do we read these stories because we enjoy the fantasy and the thrill of knowing
Fairy tails do come true thru books and movies... :)

I have to say that I really liked the tension that was created through this book. Although the Sheik "liked" his bride, he didn't realize how much he would grow to love her. Having come out of a passionless first marriage, he brought his own weaknesses to the relationship, which his virgin bride was incapable to deal with other than to see herself as the one that was disappointing him.

The story was quick to read, the characters felt developed enough for me to genuinely care about them, and it was a fun story to escape into.
