This book is concise and easy to read, yet it contains depth and good theology; it's mostly about living a surrendered life and having a genuine relationship with the Father. For Laurie, prayer isn't getting your way in heaven as much as it is getting God's way on earth, which often takes persistency of prayer and steadfastness of faith. Woe to those who, when faced with life's challenges and opportunities, either faint and give up or yawn with complacency and satisfaction with what is at hand. The new disciple, those wanting their prayer life to grow, or those in the midst of a valley or trial would benefit from reading this book.
