News and discussions relating to George R. .I am curious to hear from those that have read all of the books if they like Jon Snow's show story line better than book story line

News and discussions relating to George R. R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" novels, his Westeros-based short stories, "Game of Thrones" and all things ASOIAF - but with particular emphasis on the written series. Eastwatch in the Sidebar. I am curious to hear from those that have read all of the books if they like Jon Snow's show story line better than book story line. Personally, based on what I know, I think his show story line is better and makes a lot more sense, however, actually reading it may change my mind. Obviously the books are behind the show now, so we have yet to see how GRRM will handle his resurrection and the Battle of the Bastards, etc.

In the world of the 1850s, cholera was believed to be spread by miasma in the air, germs were not yet understood and the sudden and serious outbreak of cholera in London's Soho was a mystery. So Snow did something data journalists often do now: he mapped the cases. The map essentially represented each death as a bar, and you can.
