It is a movement of parents supporting parents, with 327 local branches and over 5,000 volunteers offering a wide range of activities. These include Bumps and Babies drop-in sessions, Nearly New Sales selling low-cost baby clothes and equipment, and Baby First Aid courses.

Series: National Childbirth Trust Guide. This is one of many breastfeeding books I read when I had my first child. What was great about this book were the stories of diffent women's experiences with breastfeeding. It answers so many question about the beast feeding experience and validates many feelings. From problems with latching on, sore breasts, how often to expect to nurse-this book covers everything in little stories. Unfortunately I let a friend borrow my copy and haven't seen it since.
