The Book on Bush book.
The Book on Bush book. Eric Alterman, who wrote the incisive What Liberal Media? The Truth about Bias and the News, and Mark Green, who has penned a number of other books on culture, economics, and politics, rise above the others through sheer thoroughness and a convincing literary style that transcends the merely journalistic. Alterman and Green begin with an introduction entitled, "The Power of Audacity," Doing Machiavelli proud. Of the spate of Bush-bashing books that have recently come out, this is clearly the best.
This is an excellent book on bush. It gives a run down on every public policy area in which George W Bush has said and promised one thing and done the exact opposite
This is an excellent book on bush. It gives a run down on every public policy area in which George W Bush has said and promised one thing and done the exact opposite. While George W, says he admires and supports the veterans in America his policies undermine the quality of their lives and the lives of their families. When George W. Bush said his tax cuts would be for everyone, he lied. No one seems to dare mention the word lie when talking about George W Bush, yet the President before him was impeached on a lie and one which had nothing to do with public policy or any legislation.

The Book on Bush methodically critiques administration policy from the standpoint of its truthfulness as well as its merit, with the characteristic wit of both writers.
The Book On Bush was the first comprehensive critique of a president who governed on a right wing and a prayer. THE BOOK ON BUSH: How George W. (Mis)leads America. Пользовательский отзыв - Kirkus. A latter-day doomsday catalogue of the sins, errors, and perhaps even crimes of the sitting president. Molly Ivins, Al Franken, and Michael Moore are mere gadflies compared to Nation columnist Alterman. Пользовательский отзыв - DavidSwindle - LibraryThing. When George W. Bush Became President in January 2001, he took office with a comfortably familiar surname, bipartisan rhetoric, and the promise of calming a public shaken by the convulsions of a contested election. I have read virtually all of the books on extreme rightist and Bush deception (from the serious Weapons of Mass Deception and Secrets and Lies to the satirical and polemical by Hightower, Moore, Franken, Conason, and Carville), and I was hoping that this book would finally be the book, a systematic issue by issue outline of what Bush Administration officials have. said, when–and then the truth of the matter, well documents. I find this book disappointing.
