This is one of the best textbooks I have seen on the growth of the world economy. It has historic depth and covers all parts of the world not just the US and Europe as do so many others. It also isn't obsessed with multinational corporations as if they were the only story about the evolution of the world economy.

Great textbook, makes a thorough understanding of the foundations for the fiscal dimension of the world, from past to present and exploring potentials of the future with a change of conduct and technology on a global stage.

Very helpful in teaching and up to date.

Has a lot of great information, but a very difficult read. Throughout the text authors mention a lot of vocabulary and concepts without any explanation.

I'm so relieved because today my entire class, including my professor, voted on throwing this book out of the course for the rest of the quarter.

This is a very comprehensive textbook that takes an historical approach to the workings of the world economy. It has a glossary defining all the terms used in the book and is well illustrated. It is probably too difficult for your typical US undergrad.
