More appropriate as YA for YA readers interested in eastern philosophy than as an adult novel. That said, this is a reissue of a book that's been around for a long time so it's obviously hit a chord with some readers. It's a quick read if you're an adult. Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC.

...painlessly. The only problem I had with the plot is that I felt the Sarangrhis were compelled to fast, and they should not have been, not to mention it was unrealistic. Having Ganesh and his aunt fast and the rest of them there for solidarity would've been more believable and appropriate. Overall, though, I definitely recommend this book.
