My brother recommended Many Lives, Many Masters to m. I always preferred to believe in the mystical things, but whatever I believed in shattered when my mother died young of a heart attack at the age of 52.

My brother recommended Many Lives, Many Masters to me. Had he not, I probably would not have read it. But this is one area where we really connect (intellectually) when we fail in other areas (emotionally, spiritually). For over a decade, I’ve struggled with this impossible grief and inability to make sense of anything. I never asked my brother why he read this book.

Many Lives, Many Masters: The true story of a prominent psychiatrist, his young patient and the past-life therapy that changed both their lives by Dr. Brian L. Weiss (Paperback, 1994). Almost more intriguing is the 'interim time' betweeen her lives when the Masters communicate through the patient to Weiss, about the details and reasons for reincarnation. Very compelling and believable for me, anyway. An intriquing read for anyone with an open mind. Many lives many masters.

When his traditional methods of therapy failed, Dr Weiss turned to hypnosis and was astonished and sceptical when Catherine began recalling past-life traumas which seemed to hold the key to her problems. Acting as a channel for information from highly evolved spirit entities called the Masters, Catherine revealed many secrets of life and death.

It pretty well shook his world to the foundations when he discovered that reincarnation and the evolution of the soul were reality. As he points out, until they personally experience the reality of the existence and survival of the soul then most people simply will not, cannot, accept it.

As a traditional psychotherapist, Dr. Brian Weiss was astonished and skeptical when one of his patients began recalling past-life traumas that seemed to hold the key to her recurring nightmares and anxiety attacks. His skepticism was eroded, however, when she began to channel messages from the "space between lives," which contained remarkable revelations about Dr. Weiss' family and his dead son. Using past-life therapy, he was able to cure the patient and embark on a new, more meaningful phase of his own career.
