HCPP now includes over 200,000 House of Commons sessional papers from 1715 to the present with supplementary material back to 1688. HCPP includes all the sessional papers of the British Parliament: bills, reports of committees, papers presented by Royal Commissions and government departments, treaties and international agreements, command papers, and statistics. It also includes the full text from Hansard, the Official Report of debates in Parliament, from both the House of Commons and House of Lords, from 1803 to 2005.

Sessional Papers - House of Commons. The library also holds a set of papers, Reports from Committees of the House of Commons, 1715-1801, printed but not inserted in the Journals of the House, 1803. Prior to 1801, the Commons Journal included not only the House proceedings, but also various reports. During the early 1800s, these reports were printed as appendices. In 1835, they began to be printed as separate publications. An index to these volumes is located in the ET2 Foreign section; see General Indexes. Additionally, the Lilly Library has some 19th and early 20th century reports of various committees, commissioners, and commissions.
