My wife Teresa used this for her kindergarten class for their study on sea life. HER STUDENTS LOVED IT! She was able to incorporate the story with a craft. SHE HIGHLY RECOMMENDS THE BOOK!!!!

Suzanne Tate's series is fantastic for introducing children to sea life. The stories don't go overboard with technical information about each character, but does introduce those characteristics that make that species unique. All of the books are wonderful and they remain a favorite in our household.

This book-the story and pictures-is wonderful! We picked it up on vacation in South Carolina at a gift shop and I can't say enough good things about it. My kids love this book-they are five and eight. It is really well written and has a great message within as well. Highly recommend! We picked up two other books from this series as well and loved them as well!
