Peter Mayle passed away in January, but not before completing one last book: "My Twenty-Five Years in Provence," out now from Knopf.
Peter Mayle wrote fifteen previous books. I will miss him, but this book is an appropriate ending to a life well lived and many books well written. Thank you Peter Mayle. He was a proud recipient of the Légion d’Honneur from the French government for his cultural contributions. He died in January 2018.
