This was a great book that provided detailed yet concise overviews of some of the major conflicts fought since the end of World War II. My only grievance with the book - and the reason it did not get five stars - was the binding and printing quality.

The content of Carver's book is good, however the quality of the binding is very poor. The book started to fall apart after only 2 weeks. The pictures in the book are blurry and look like poor copies of other poor copies made on a dirty xerox machine.
