6 year old asked for these books. He enjoys their stories but prefers higher level...level 8 is better for us because it involves more mystery but the 6 is a good basic read to help with training to read smoothly.

My son starts at level 3 at 3 yrs old and after 1 year, he can read level 6 by himself. A very good book for beginners.
