It is part of a three-volume series of texts aimed at college-level calculus students, but the organization and presentation of the problems and examples are a bit hard-to-follow. Many of the problems presented in the text have very long-winded solutions that are not very well taught through the examples, thereby making students rely on the chance that the professor will show how to do the entire calculation in class.

Jerrold Marsden, Alan Weinstein. I knew about this book in a library. It goes straight to the point whithout losing in any moment the level of treatment a serious book of calculus has to have. I purchased this book for a Calculus course at the university I attend.

Overall: lots of problems available, solutions are too meticulous, examples are insufficient.
