I'm going back to school (all online) and I'm horrible with math. This is one of my courses I have to take and was concerned about passing. No, I didn't get this book to cheat; I have the student version too. I got the instructor book so I could check my answers and try to figure out what I did wrong, if anything.

Lucky for me too, I have a friend that's willing to help me study, so she'll have the instructor book to look at. =)
This book does not explain how to solve any algebraic formulas. It is not worth the money and it's a total waste. I would not ever recommend this textbook to anybody for College Algebra. I recommend better sources for College Algebra than this. I suggest Tyler Wallace's Beginning and Intermediate Algebra because his explanations are more clear than this textbook.
This is the worst algebra book I've ever used...
good condition.

Great book for my step son on college.
It was not new as they said it would be, other than that it was in great shape!
The text was difficult to follow. The Explanations did not give you enough to understand how they got to the solution. The text also bounced around into trigonometry and areas that were not yet learned in college algebra.
