Love Medicine is a book I have been meaning to read for years

Love Medicine is a book I have been meaning to read for years. This book is a well threaded tale of family and culture, difficult lives and how we find our way. On my belated discovery of Louise Erdrich through her blog, I started with this book on the recommendation of a friend. And while I wasn't disappointed in the vividness department, I felt oddly unsatisfied at the end.

Book was a disappointment to me. I purchased it because a famous author said it was the ground work for her writing. It was just okay, but nothing great. I honestly thought it would be much better.
