Wanda jumped into Bobbie-Sue Cosmetics with two feet and is kicking butt and taking names. She is working her way up the ladder much to Marty's delight. Unfortunately, Wanda has a secret she is keeping from Marty and Nina. No matter what the werewolf and vampire do, Wanda refuses to budge. While conducting her recruiting drive for Bobbie-Sue, Wanda does the impossible, she recruits a man. Yes a MAN!! A drop dead gorgeous, British accented, man named Heath who seems to have an unwordly obsession with Reese's Cups. She thinks he's playing her. He shows up to her pitch for Bobbie-Sue in her house and he listens to everything she has to about the company and nails it. Heath has the touch. He proves it by helping the ladies in her house by helping them with picking colors in their color wheels. Wanda doesn't know what to do. She's even more stumped when Heath can't pay for his starter kit. He makes a deal that if he can sell the required kits in less than a week, Wanda pays for his kit for him and they move forward. Boy, does Heath deliver. Heath certainly knows how to think outside of the box. The chemistry between Wanda and Heath leaps off the page. While navigating what is going on with herself, helping Heath with his career with Bobbie-Sue and trying to keep Nina and Marty from finding out what is wrong with her, Wanda is juggling a lot of balls in the air. Unfortunately, those balls get all mixed up and jumbled and they start to cross and get mixed up. Things happen and Wanda's world turns upside down even more. Somehow, Heath knows more than he is letting on with the world that Marty and Nina belong to. But how and why? What's his story? When Marty and Nina find out what Wanda's secret is World War III breaks out, okay .. so it doesn't but something happens. And boy, it is a dozy. To find out, you need to get the book and find out how this trio of best friends figure out how to deal with something that could tear them apart.

I swore I wouldn't purchase another book from this series but after all the hints dropped in the last book about Wanda I just had to know her story. Truth be told this is much better than the previous 2 books although it still had some things that bothered me from the last 2. The slang drives me nuts. The enlongating of words & using "evah" rather than ever. Things like that. Each of these books is about a different person so you would think the language or their "voice" would change a bit. It did seem that the the use of f-bombs wasn't nearly as present in this book. So I guess since I'm a glutton for punishment I'll continue on with the series hoping that trend of "better stories" continues. (Basicly I found a deal on the next 2 books!)

This well written story was the one that produced the most emotion. I went from laughing to crying thru most of the book. The storyline was just enough to keep you engaged and guessing. Very binge worthy series!

The 3rd book in the Accidental series is very cute. Dakota Cassidy is a very funny writer and it shows in this story. Wanda is a great gal, she is a true friend and when she is diagnosed with a terminal illness she starts to look at her life it takes her meeting Heath to realize that she wants to live and love.

Her friends step in to help Wanda decide how to handle the illness and well let's just say that is when it all goes to hell in a handbasket. What would you do with friends like that? Great Read!

After reading many of Dakota Cassidys books I've learned two things. They're fun and she doesn't disappoint. This book only adds to my list of favorites by her.

All the books are fun to read . The missiles of subject and object pronouns throughout the books is somewhat annoying. Faulty spacing at the beginning of sentences is careless editing.

Dakota is an exceptional arthur. She makes you laugh, cry and sigh. You can't help but fall in love with her characters. This is the third book in the Accidental Series and Wanda is a wonderful woman you can't help but love from book one. I really suggest read these books in order so you can watch the women grow.
I love the 'Accidental' series !! The humor is great, and there are serious moments too. There is actually a story, and it is long enough to actually be called a book, not just a short story.
