The Ellipse: Selected Poems of Leonardo Sinisgalli (The Lockert Library of Poetry in Translation). 0691013977 (ISBN13: 9780691013978). Sinisgalli was a modernist Italian poet whose career can be neatly divided into a pre-modern kind of rustic, Lucretian style and a later, more acerbic, more descriptive style. His theory of poets, though, is pretty awesome, and comes across as similar to Bohm's holonomic brain theory of the universe.
