He became a member of the Royal Watercolour Society and mastered the watercolor method of painting, seen in many of his works

This is a reprint of The Allies' Fairy Book first published in 1916. It compiles fairy tales from England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, France, Italy, Portugal, Japan, Russia, Serbia and Belgium interspersed with Rackham's line drawings and full color plates. The language is archaic and it would be difficult for young children to understand quite a lot of the words used. This book is mainly for adult fans of Arthur Rackham's illustrations, imho.
