Now, almost all the books he talks about, one has never had heard of before. But I like reading about them almost 100 years later. And, of course, it gives an extra kick when he writes about authors, that are still famous, like Thomas Mann or Kafka. Bennett, I think, and I might have said it before, At the time Bennett was a very influential critique. He did write a book dealing with the subject of how to develop a literary taste.
Enoch Arnold Bennett (27 May 1867 – 27 March 1931) was an English writer. He is best known as a novelist, but he also worked in other fields such as the theatre, journalism, propaganda and films. Bennett was born in a modest house in Hanley in the Potteries district of Staffordshire. Hanley was one of the Six Towns that were joined together at the beginning of the 20th century as Stoke-on-Trent and are depicted as "the Five Towns" in some of Bennett's novels.

I don’t think itmatters what your policy is, if only it is adhered to and is brilliantly explained.
