This is a treasure trove for anyone interested in Whitman and a must for the avid student of Whitman. The introduction alone is priceless. To have all of these essays at hand is invaluable. I hope it will be updated in the future as it has been up till now.

Whitman is one of the most influential poets in the American canons. I use "is" on purpose.
