These are the works of some of the best writers ever. My first acquaintance with it came as a text book in college. A teacher I took several courses with used it as a textbook for studying the novel (actually the short novel). It was a great course and introduced me to some of the world's best novelists. For anyone interested in what writing can be this is the book even though most of it is in translation.

aside from one page falling out right when i opened the book, the condition it arrived in didn't surprise me. came in just the way it was described and for $4 it was a great deal for a book i'll only need for one semester of class!
