Don't expect it to mirror the books or movies perfectly. It won't, but I hope you enjoy it nonetheless. Disclaimer: I do not own The Hunger Games.

It is right that the courage and sacrifice of so many is being honoured 75 years on. We must never forget. Hundreds of other veterans are in northern France to mark the occasion there. The commemorations to mark the Allied invasion of northern France come a day after Mr Trump had a series of political meetings as part of his three-day state visit to the UK.

The book tells a story of courage and sacrifice by the members of MAKO 30, a predominantly Navy SEAL-composed small task force, and by a quick reaction force composed predominantly of the Rangers. The former is dispatched on an intelligence gathering mission to Takur Ghar, a 10,000 foot peak in Afghanistan, during the early stages of Operation Anaconda (March 2002) in the famous Shah-e-Kot valley (famous as a defensive position of the Afghans against the forces of Alexander the Great, and of the USSR), the last major operation against a large.

He looked at his father, then went to Grant, giving him a quick, heartfelt hug. As he and his father were nearing their table, Grant walked up behind them. A haze drifted across the eastern horizon, as a thin veil shrouded an early morning sun. The day’s forecast was for a high of ninety-six degrees, humidity eighty-five percent.

Clayton Harcourt's quiet life in a remote Idaho cabin comes to an abrupt end when the memory of his father's sacrifice in Vietnam lures him back into the espionage game. A global terrorist network threatens a presidential election. Intrigue, conspiracy, greed, and corruption spread from Cairo, Riyadh, Hong Kong,London, and around the world to Washington DC. The nation's capital is under siege. TOVAIR’s deceptive maneuvers roil capital markets. Elected officials are in harms' way. Only the dedication and loyalty of quiet professionals can avert a national disaster. Courage, leadership and honor transcend generations linking fathers and sons in the quest to preserve freedom and Western civilization.

Rosa is a friend of mine and an inspiration to many people like me who pursue writing, but have not reached her level of intrigue and fast-paced action. This book is a page-turner.

An excellent first novel! I read it in just over one day because it was that compelling. Very inventive premise and well done. (Could use improved editing for typos, etc.)

I wanted to love this book. Fly fishing and espionage. What could be better? But I liked it but didn't love it. I liked the style of wrting but the dang plot was just too predicatable. It needed a bit more action and needed to keep me guessing past the second chapter. Good luck for the remaining two books.

For those whose have interests in national security and emerging future threats (and maybe just if you like fly fishing), this is a great world spanning page turner. Who is the next big threat after Al Quaeda? Read this book.
