The last gunfighter hell town. With j. a. People started flooding into the former ghost town of Buckskin once they heard about the silver strike, eager as always to try to grab some of those riches for themselves. And as always, more people meant more trouble. The batwings swung open and Thomas Woodford stepped into the saloon. A thick-bodied man in overalls, flannel shirt, and battered old hat, Tip, as he was known to his friends, looked like a down-on-his-luck prospector. Nobody would guess from his appearance that he owned not only the Lucky Lizard, but also the Silver Baron Saloon.

Bartender, Johnny Collyer is tending bar in the Silver Baron Saloon in the town of Buckskin, Nevada. Professor Burton sits by himself at a table quietly drinking when a cocky kid name of Conwell decides the professor will be easily intimidated. But the town marshal, Gunfighter, Frank Morgan discourages the kid from continuing his bullying & after both his partners refuse to join him, he decides it wasn't a good day to die. Sometimes just the name, Frank Morgan or "Drifter" as he's also known, does the trick & sometimes not. Hearing Conwell stomp down the boardwalk as he leaves the saloon, the bartender turns to pour Frank a cup of coffee when in an instant a man on horseback charges through the bat wings throwing lead everywhere. Of course, it's Conwell. There's no shortage of excitement in the town of Buckskin & it's about to get even more so as Marshal Frank Morgan tries to keep the peace with the silver strikes acting as a magnet for even more gunslingers & trouble makers. Another excellent addition to this series you won't want to miss... Totally recommend this group of books to anyone.
