Stephen Coonts' Deep Black Series is one in which you will want to read the whole group of books before moving on. Dealing with then many political conflicts and threats facing our 21st century society, Coonts makes us wonder "what if?" His characters are bigger than life, but have the human qualities that will have you rooting for they success. In this book, "What if" means terrorists are planning to blow up the "Chunnel" between the UK and France. All of Stephen Coonts' scenarios represent threats that could actually happen in our imperfect world.

Another Coonts masterpiece with more great characters. The bunch at Desk Three are another group of very believable government groups leading the charge into the 21st century.

Yet another triumph for Stephen Coonts. I have finally dared to move from his earlier engaging novels,to these more recent ones and have not been disappointed at all.

It was a little difficult at times to follow and I was not personally all that impressed. Perhaps I am just spoiled by the likes of Koontz, King and Saul. It was not bad I just had trouble staying interested in it.
