They believe he's a God ... Some think he's the only God, and yet they chase and plan and die trying to kill or capture him. At one point if there are no tears in your eyes ... You need to focus on what you are reading. There is a problem with many of the pages in this book ... Printing problems to include missing words and parts of sentences. Many pages in the 1st half have "swollen" words like the 4th page in a typewriter and the carbon paper moved!

You should read the entire series (14 books), even though Mr. Johnstone started writing this decades ago you can see parallels to what is happening today. You can easily see what is happening in the stories easily happening today if the world was cast into Armageddon due to terrorism or worse war beyond comprehension. What is left are survivalist, crazy politicians with power hungry ideas, and religious terrorist who all reek havoc on those only wanting to survive and eventually rebuild.

Mr. Johnstone is one of the most under appreciated authors of this century. He writes plainly, intently & honestly about a lot of things that should cause the same reactions from us.
