Another extremely interesting BD book, sure kept my attention thru out.
Many surprises, all interwoven with skill.

The only thing that bugged me was the use of the name Connie for Cornelius. I don't
believe there was a single time I saw the name Connie that I didn't think it was a woman,
even tho I knew better ! Had to stop and think about it. Ahhhh, tear my hair out !
I really wish authors would use, what would you call it, gender friendly names ? IMHO,
it makes for a much smoother, more pleasant read.

Sometimes when i purchase books for the kindle, i buy many at a time. so when i get to read one i might have forgotten what it was about. sometimes the book is "fluff," meaning after the first page, you kind of know what is going to be on the last page and read it anyway (sometimes you just don't want to "think so hard" while reading). i was so wrong about Flirting With Pete. Maybe it was the title that threw me off at first. Then I "got it." Wow. Definitely one of Ms. Delinsky's best. It got to the point that i could not put it down. i did figure some things out along the way but that didn't stop me from enjoying it completely. It was not the first book i have read of hers... i will keep reading all the others!

I am a Barbara Delinsky fan however I could not continue reading this Novel, it's the most depressing novel I have ever started reading! DELETED IT FROM MY KINDLE!

Could hardly get through it - really disliked the main character's personality. Immature and selfish. On top of that, comes across to stupid to have received a degree...in anything. The subplot got me through, but even that became silly.

In a search to find herself , Casey finds so much more. The case study she finds of Jenny is almost unbearable to read. She I'd obsessed with finding her,not realizing she will bring her abuser back to Jenny's door.

Can't believe I'd never read this. I guess the timing wasn't right until now. Loved it on so many levels. It surprised me, it tugged on my emotions, I laughed out loud and I sobbed. You nailed it! Thanks for letting us live thru your characters. Once again you did not disappoint.
Enjoyed this book very much, author has worked two mysteries together, keeps you hooked. One of those 'can't put down' novels.
