I read several of these short stories in high school, most notable "The Most Dangerous Game". The Most Dangerous Game was presented to us by our Teacher as the perfect example of a short story, and I would have to agree with her, it was exciting and very well written. Connell's prose is very distinct and highly readable. If you find that you are the kind of person who enjoys short stories more that long drawn out novels this is the book for you.
