I enjoyed reading the book. I have always liked a background of Russia. The Author seemed well informed about Russian life at that time, the characters were well developed. My only regret was that the book wasn't longer.

A COLD RED SUNRISE is an interesting read in that it shines some light on the former Soviet Union and it's policing methods. It also shows some Russian police officers doing a dangerous job in a society that seldom appreciates their efforts not to mention usually at the whim of politicos that hold the power...hmm? Guess they're not all that much different that we are and could describe the working life of police officers anywhere.
A good story.

Well written, good plot and a good read. I recommend it to mystery readers. I have not read any others in the series but plan to do so.

All of Mr. Kamisky's books are excellent

Best book of the series so far. The humanity depicted in this twisting and turning story brings the heroes and villains to life.
The book was sold as GOOD. It, in fact, was in poor condition. This because the entire book was bent and dented. It is readable, which is why it received as much as 2 star.
