I retired in Dec 2010 after driving (18 wheeler) long haul for 16 years. Other than with a trainer in 1994 and then 9mos with a female co-driver in 1995....I have done the job all by myself. ha It was a way of life....not a job. I LOVED driving all over the United States and parts of Canada. What a sight to see.

I have been wanting to read the Rig Warrior series for awhile. I wished I could have gotten them all on my Kindle but since I couldnt....I finally bought all three books and have almost finished the first one (Rig Warrior). It is a treat to read about the life I lead all those years. Such a great story and realistic characters.....cant wait to get started on book #2.

lolike
haven't read it yet but sure it'll be good
As usual a terrific book by William W. Johnstone. Aren't they all??? I was a little disappointed in one thing in this story. Barry was great in the first book, Wheels of Death, but he was not as likable in this one. A little too much ego & picked the wrong woman to mess around with. I didn't like Bonnie at all, anytime or place in this book. Other than that it was very good. Can't wait for the next one. I keep looking for more books by him from before he died. J. A. Johnstone is pretty good & most of his books are very readable. It would be good for him to write some horror stories. I just can't get into the westerns.
