His approach slowly has one increase the load being borne, the distance being walked, and the intensity of the walk. This solid book is a great way to approach fitness in a pragmatic way. This is a good book that covers some basic strength training derived from gymnastics. While it's no comparison to the modern "Building the Gymnastics Body" by Christopher Sommer, we have to consider that it was written over 20 years prior. Obviously that means it was before it's time. If the book were to be updated and reprinted today I am sure that it could do well. It's pretty basic overall and doesn't include some of the more well-known progressions but given that it was designed to give average readers a basic gymnastic workout, I think it did a good job.

After I had my son, this wa THE BIBLE, to getting back to my high school figure.... too bad and so sad that I didn't pick it up after my daughter was born...... soulda, could a, would a, but didn't.
