I also liked that it incorporated baby since spending time together and including my son in a healthy lifestyle from the start was very important to me. The only down side is that it takes quite a bit of reading to familiarize yourself with the routine, so plan on taking some time to read through and maybe even "practice" the exercises before you do it with baby. I haven't figured out how to do the cardio routine outside because I feel like I'd have to have the book. It's pretty complicated. I like the layout of this book, and I love that it gives specific workouts depending on how far out postpartum you are. It also has adaptations for c-sections (although I didn't have one, so I didn't use them). I also liked that it incorporated baby since spending time together and including my son in a healthy lifestyle from the start was very important to me. The only down side is that it takes quite a bit of reading to familiarize yourself with the routine, so plan on taking some time to read through and maybe even "practice" the exercises before you do it with baby. This is my first one star review. Sorry, author. If you're at all fit, this book is a dullard. It doesn't give you any ideas as to how to incorporate your baby into your workout, which is what I was looking for and what the cover implies (don't buy a book for it's cover) and what the book implies. I found it useless and gave it away. I mean, I really, really didn't like it.

I bought this book for my wife because she thought it would be fun. She loved the ideas for exercising with the baby and the baby loves it too. Our little boy giggles and laughs working out with mom.

Thought this was a great resource for new moms. Very realistic plan to get back to activity after delivery. Also thought the photos and exercise ideas were wonderful.

I could really have thought of all of these exercises myself. Haven't decided whether to return it or not. Was really looking forward to recieving this book am very disappointed it is so basic.

The photos in this book are terrific...I love how the chapters are laid out in simple way to show new moms (or anyone) clearly how to properly do each exercise. A picture is worth a thousand words in this book. I'm buying this for all my baby shower gifts.

I like the concept of this book, but with my mobile little one, I wish I had purchased it when he was younger. Most of the exercises are useless to me now. I think it's a great book if you use it right from your baby's birth!
