Babaji’s Kriya Hatha Yoga : 18 Postures of Relaxation & Rejuvenation. Govindan's book provides an excellent platform for such a study. by Marshall Govindan. These 18 postures were selected by Babaji from among the thousands which exist to form an efficient system for rejuvenating the physical body and preparing it for the more subtle phases of his Kriya Yoga. He writes from his own long experience of Kriya Yoga and a deep love and respect for the heritage of Yoga. Marshall Govindan's Kriya Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and the Siddhars is a valuable addition to the study of Yoga in general and the Yoga-Sutra in particular. I can wholeheartedly recommend it.

The above pictures and descriptive text regarding the 18 siddhas has been reproduced from the book Babaji and the Eighteen Siddha Kriya Yoga Tradition by Marshall Govindan, published by Babaji’s Kriya Yoga Trust. Chapter 1. The Eighteen Siddha Tradition History of the 18 Siddha Traditions, the Lost continent of.I am gratified to write a foreword to the fine book of Marshall Govindan of Montreal, Canada, entitled, "Babaji and the 18 Siddha Kriya Yoga Tradition". The Eighteen Siddha Tradition History of the 18 Siddha Traditions, the Lost continent of Kumari Kandam. geological Evidence of Gondwana Land. Archaeological Remains of the Indus Valley Civilization. The Tamil Sangams of Literature, Evidence of extensive Communication with distant land. I met him during 1975 along with Thiru. Ramaiah who had consecrated him to the holy southern Indian way of life, especially the culture of ancient Saints, Sages and Siddhas.

Babaji and the 18 Siddha Kriya Yoga Tradition. Kriya Yoga: Insights Along the Path. by Marshall Govindan and Jan Ahland. Kriya Hatha Yoga: 18 postures. Kriya Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. Babaji’s Kriya Yoga offers to initiated and non-initiated students of Yoga a monthly correspondence course which is designed to deepen your understanding of the principles and practices of Yoga. The course is designed to widen our perspective of our practice at all levels physically, vitally, mentally and spiritually. It introduces the right use of will to change the course of your life.

The first authoritative biography of Babaji, the immortal master made famous by Yogananda's Autobiography of a Yogi, an all-time best-seller. Babaji lives today near Badrinath, in the upper Himalayan mountains. His body has not aged since the age of sixteen, when centuries ago he attained the supreme state of enlightenment and divine transformation. This followed his initiation into scientific art of Kriya Yoga by two deathless masters, the siddhas Agastyar and Boganathar, who belonged to the "18 Siddha Tradition", famous among the Tamil speaking people of southern India. This rare account, by a long time disciple, reveals their little known stories, ancient culture and present mission, as well as how their Kriya Yoga can be used to bring about the integration of the material and spiritual dimensions of life. Clear explanations of the psychophysiological effects of Kriya Yoga and guidelines for its practice are given. It includes verses from the Siddhas' writings with commentary. A book which will inspire you.

This book really opened my eyes. Although I had been to India several times and read various scriptures like the Gita and Bhagavantam, and others for years, I had no idea of what was possible with Babaji's Kriya Yoga before reading this book. I intend pursuing the study of this Yoga and hope in the future to practice with a true master. The world owes a debt to Marshall Govindan and others who have written about this most important tradition.

It is a good book but it is strictly for the Indian person. Evidently he is a real person and has passed the problem of dying. That is too far off for me to even think about but he is interesting. If you are interested in ancient Indians it is for you.

Very good book about origins of Hindu Shaivite Tantra, specifically Kriya yoga of Immortality, that is the transformation of the physical body into a divine body via specific yogic techniques developed in ancient India (especially Kumar Nadu, the sunken portion of the continent(s) which once connected Sri Lanka, Tamil Nadu, Australia, and Africa (Mu and Lemuria) and continued today through the Avatar Babaji, his gurus and disciples.
