The Anderton Boat Lift is an attraction well worth visiting. We had a trip on the canal followed by the boat going up in the lift. Booked the boat ride with the added part of ascending in the lift. Open today: 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM. Once in holding area it was all very slick, very straight forward and very easy going. We expected the cassions to pass each other but only one cassion was working.
